Explore the beautiful Pyrenees and surrounding countryside either with your host or by yourself. We can provide tour routes with pre-booked restaurants. When out and about should you have any problems you can contact us and we can provide a recovery service back to the Gite for you.

Gite Alexandre is just 20 minutes ride north from the beautiful city of Pau in the village of Simacourbe. We are 30 minutes from Lourdes, 1hr 30 from Biarritz and 1hr 45 from Spain. Le Havre is 560 miles, Santander is 234 miles and Bilbao is 176 miles away.

Circuits

We are within an easy ride of approx 40mins to the race tracks of Pau-Arnos and Nogaro taking in some great roads before you reach the tracks.

Pau Arnos is a 2 mile long circuit which is hilly & highly technical & a great challenge to all riders.

Nogaro Paul Armagnac is a 2.3 mile circuit with a fast straight positive camberd corners,
tight complexes & a good grippy surface. Great track & good facilities.

There are a number of track days on offer at both circuits & you have the choice of booking direct with each circuit of which we can advise you the dates & prices which are a lot lower than in the UK or you can pre-book a track day with a company in the UK before you arrive, it’s up to you.

Both circuits offer a number of other attractions & a lot are free of charge which is a nice surprise
